Resurfacing
Resurfacing is a very cost effective alternative to that of traditional bathroom remodeling. Most homeowners choose to resurface because the fixture color is outdated, the fixture has been damaged, or the fixture has become dull and worn over time. Cabinets, fiberglass showers, bathtubs, ceramic tile and countertops can be restored to a like-new condition. Simply stated, resurfacing is a system by which an extremely durable, high-tech coating is applied over an existing surface without any removal or replacement, giving the surface a new look. Most people can’t tell the difference between a resurfaced fixture and a new one. The results are that good!

Most bathroom resurfacing jobs are completed in less than one day. For example, showers, bathtubs and tile will take between four to six hours to resurface. Larger projects involving different colors or multiple rooms can take a couple of days to finish. All fixtures are available for use 48 hours after the job is completed. Once the fixture is resurfaced, care and maintenance is effortless. Typically, all that is required is a mild liquid cleaner, a sponge and a soft cotton towel.

Surface Solutions installs custom made acrylic bathtubs and wall surrounds over existing bathtubs and walls without tearing up the existing plumbing or surrounding wall area. If desired, acrylic walls are cut on site to custom fit tight against the existing sheetrocked or tiled wall, all the way from the floor to the ceiling.
